Privacy policy

• Your trips, vehicles, rates, reasons and settings are held in a database on your iPhone.
• The app does not use your location. A trip’s distance is worked out from the two odometer readings you enter, so there is no map and nothing that follows you between trips.
• The Home Screen widget reads the same data on the device. It never leaves the phone.
• Deleting the app deletes all of it. Settings has a Delete all data option too, for clearing it without deleting the app.

With Premium you can switch on iCloud sync, so a trip logged on your iPhone appears on your iPad. When it is on, your trips are stored in your own private iCloud through Apple’s CloudKit, under your Apple Account. We hold no copy and cannot read it. It is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Leave sync off and nothing leaves the device at all.

When you export a Claim report (PDF), or a Spreadsheet (CSV) of your trips, the file is made on your device and handed to whatever you share it with, such as Mail or Files. That is your action and your data. Nothing is sent anywhere on its own.

Premium is bought through Apple. The App Store handles the payment and tells the app whether Premium is active. We never see your card or your Apple Account details, only that a purchase was made.

This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, but only if you allow it in the cookie notice shown on your first visit. Say no and nothing is loaded. Say yes and Google sets cookies that measure how the site is used, as described in Google’s partner sites policy. The choice you make covers all of apps.createful.com, not just the Mileage pages. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are noted in the app’s release notes.
